Lodging Review- Heig's Bowen Lodge

Bowen Lodge is one of the most outstanding Resorts on lake Winnie. Bill, Gail, and Bob Heig run a class Three Star Resort. The cabins are very clean and as close to home as you can get. The main lodge is gives you a log cabin feeling and is one of the best lodges I have seen in 22 years of guiding. You over look big Winnie from the banks of Bowen lodge, the sunset is breath taking as you watch it set in the west. The boat launch is located situated behind the resort on Cutfoot Sioux and they have a great dock system that keeps your boat safe and secure. Bowen's has several activities for adult and the kids. They have a full schedule that will make your stay their seem like it was over night. I would highly recommend your next vacation at Bowen lodge. They are friendly and very hospitable. Lodging Review - Twin Rivers Resort, Baudette Minnesota

I recently stayed at Twin Rivers Resort owned and operated by John and Bobbi Cook. Now John is quietly known around the fishing circles as the man who knows where the fish are during both, the winter and open water period. Five of us stayed at Twin Rivers resort, for two days and two nights. We also rented Twin Rivers fish houses. You can tell John loves to fish because of the way he sets his houses up. Plenty of room and very comfortable, and yes he was on fish. We fished in three different house and we were successful in every house. His cabins were very clean and had all the house keeping you will need. A bonus was the cable TV as we got to watch the Gophers Men hockey and the Minnesota Wild. John and Bobbi were outstand hosts during our stay. They were always willing to help to make things go as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend contacting Twin Rivers Resort for all your Winter and Summer fishing trips!!!!
